The series I am currently reading is called The Shadow Children Series by Margret Peterson Haddix. It is a dystopian novel about a government that only allows citizens to have two children and if you have more than two, the third child will receive immediate death. The main character, Luke Garner is a third child and tries to leave his family with a fake ID. Luke wants to grow up to help other third children have better lives. I would definitely recommend this series.
